[Josepha Haden](https://josepha.blog/) lead a [panel discussion](https://montclair.wordcamp.org/2022/session/the-wordpress-all-women-release-squad-contributing-to-wordpress-and-more-panel/)
at [WordCamp Montclair](https://montclair.wordcamp.org/2022/) earlier this summer
with [Michelle Frechette](https://meetmichelle.online/), [Courtney Robertson](https://courtneyr.dev/),
and [Ebonie Butler](http://metalandcoffee.com/) on the topic of the all women and
non-binary release squad in [WordPress 5.6](https://wordpress.org/news/2020/12/simone/)(
aka “Simone”) and their individual and shared experiences contributing to WordPress.
One of my favorite parts was when Josepha stresses what should already be a certainty,
but unfortunately one that still bears repeating (and amplifying); namely that **
contributions from _anyone_ should _always_ be welcome**.

The clip below highlights that part of the panel discussion and shows off Josepha’s
wonderfully quirky approach storytelling.  Please watch and consider sharing in
your networks so we can ensure this approach to _**welcoming all contributions**_
spreads as widely as possible.
